Q&A: Meet Ronak Bhatia

Meet Ronak Bhatia, a remarkable young man from Chandler, Arizona, and a 2024 Alisa's Angels recipient. He's just graduated from Perry High School and is set to study Mechanical Engineering at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. Ronak started his journey in community service at just six years old when he founded Brothers and Sisters Serving Others (BSSO). This group has grown into a nonprofit that has raised over $50,000 to help local families in need. His story shows how much one person can achieve with hard work and a big heart. We look forward to seeing all the amazing things he’ll do at ASU and beyond.

What advice would you give to future applicants of the Alisa’s Angels Scholarship?

My biggest advice to future applicants is to get involved in meaningful community service from a young age, so by the time applicants are old enough to apply, they will have a strong chance of winning. I would also recommend acquiring leadership roles throughout high school, as they will teach you important skills in life.
